Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HWAY ("we", "us") and the products we offer, including eSIM, USIM, and the Check-in Seoul card. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and traveling to or planning to travel to the Republic of Korea. You are responsible for ensuring you hold any travel authorization required for your trip. A valid passport number is required to place an order.
2. Products and services
- eSIM: a digital SIM delivered by email as a QR code after payment. Activation is performed by you on a compatible device. Data is provided over the LG U+ network in Korea.
- USIM: a physical SIM collected at a designated pickup location in Korea.
- Check-in Seoul Card: a LOCA-branded card usable for transit and cashless payment with participating merchants, subject to the card issuer's terms. The card is included free with eSIM and USIM orders, and can also be ordered standalone.
3. Ordering and payment
Product prices are shown in Korean Won (KRW). Your payment method is charged when you place your order. Orders are processed once payment is confirmed. Your order is not guaranteed until you receive an order-confirmation email.
4. Delivery, pickup, and activation
- eSIM: delivered by email after payment is confirmed. You are responsible for verifying device compatibility before ordering.
- USIM and Check-in Seoul card: collected at the pickup location you selected at checkout. Bring the passport used for the order and your order confirmation.
- Activation: follow the instructions in your confirmation email. Activation timing and data-plan validity run from the point of activation, per product terms.
5. Account activation and access
Some products include access to an online account. By creating or activating an account, you agree to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell products without our prior written consent
- Use products in violation of Korean law or the carrier's acceptable-use policies
- Interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
- Provide false identity or passport information
7. Third-party partners
Telecommunications, card issuance, and pickup services are provided by third-party partners (including LG U+, Lotte Card, LOCA, and pickup-location operators). Their own terms and policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for partner service interruptions outside our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual property
The HWAY name, logo, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free connectivity, as network performance depends on conditions outside our control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to your order or use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Korea unless applicable law requires otherwise. This clause is a placeholder pending legal review of the preferred jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanism.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated effective date will appear above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
