Type the code into the app within 5 minutes. Tap "Resend" if it expires.
Create a password with 8–20 characters using letters, numbers, and symbols.
Select your home currency (PHP, USD, JPY and more) so balances show in money you understand.
Review and accept the required terms and conditions, then continue.
Choose a PIN to secure your account — the same digit can't repeat 4 or more times — then re-enter it to confirm.
Your account is ready. Tap "Get started" to begin.
Open the Card tab and tap "Apply or register a card".
Pick "Register card" to add a card you already have. Choose "New card" if you still need to apply for one.
Select "Scan card", then hold your card to the back of your phone — your card number fills in automatically. You can also enter it manually.
To verify your identity, place your passport photo page inside the frame and capture it.
Hold your phone against the passport to read its NFC chip. Move slowly until the scan completes.
Fit your face inside the frame and follow the on-screen prompts for a quick face check.
Check that your passport details are correct, then add your email and phone number.
Enter a 6-digit PIN to finish registering your card.
Go to the Card tab and tap "+ Top up".
Pay with a foreign card (VISA, Mastercard, JCB) or top up with cash at a kiosk.
Type how much you want to add. Use the quick-add buttons or enter a custom amount.
Review the top-up amount and any fee, then continue.
Fill in your card number, expiry, and CVC, then confirm to complete the top-up.
Foreign-card top-ups are limited to ₩1,000,000 per month. The daily allowance resets each day.
Foreign-card top-up payments can't be cancelled.
Open the Card tab and tap your card to the back of your phone to read its current transit balance.
On the transit card screen, tap "Refund". Only the full balance can be refunded (minimum ₩10).
Confirm the amount — the balance is moved onto your prepaid card.
Hold your card to your phone once more to finish. The amount now sits in your payment balance.
Refunds need two taps: one to read the card, one to complete the transfer.
Transit balance isn't real-time — tap your card to update it before checking.
Apply for your Check-in Seoul card and pick it up when you land in Korea.
